Hey all-
I sure do hate my message to Jessica wasn't clear about the "pre" reunion. I told her that it sounded as fun as a se'ance - referring to a time when I went to her house and pretended to have a se'ance. I guess I messed up the joke. My comedic timing is as wrong as it always was. David King told me at church that no one understood what I meant. Sorry. I really did hate missing the get together. I saw Jessica's updated pics and thought it looked fun. I guess I should have told her it sounded as fun as kissing while sitting on a tractor tire. (o.k. that is referring to a time when Jessica and I were "going together" and I wasn't tall enough to kiss her so I had to sit on a tractor tire.) I can't wait to see all you guys at the reunion.
Chris

Sorry Chris...I don't remember a se'ance at my house but my memory isn't what is used to be, it's the old age creeping up, but I do remember the tractor tire..LOL...sorry u missed the get together!

I'm sorry, I am laughing sooooo hard, I can barely type... Barlow, I must admit Jessica and I both were like whattttt??? Does he not like us anymore...??? As much as we stayed together growing up.. This is HILARIOUS........ Our minds ARE BAD,,,I DON'T REMEMBER THAT EITHER.... I WOULD HAVE remember the tractor tire though....

Oh it happened. Believe me - Jason Patterson talked about it for a month or longer afterward. He really was into that kind of thing. Come to think of it - I don't know why I didn't reference the tractor tire sooner.

Now I am talking to Jessica on the phone. Well trying to talk, we are laughing so hard... Can't type, talk, and laugh at the same time... This is so HILARIOUS...

Lisa Adams (Maplesden)

Didn't we have Troy Pressnell on look out for us while down at the tractor???

03/22/09 09:07 PM #348

Chris Barlow

It wasn't Troy Presnell. It was John Irvin

BTW - I'm just now reading all of the forum. How funny. I had no idea you all have been carrying on so much. Work's been busy - I'm struggling just to have a facebook page. Brad Phillips and Jamie Casteel are hilarious.

Why in the world did we pick John Irvin to be on look out... Can't believe he doesn't talk about that to me in Wal Mart... He remembers everything too...

And about Owens P.E.
Travis was the superstar on the trampoline. It was huge and he could flip his whole body from standing position, flip and back to standing, a million in a row it seemed!

Also in the gym at OJS, our play in 8th grade, Daphne and Brian Y???? were the lead? I know Traci and I didn't want to be in it because some of the 9th grade boys (BW /SG) might think we were dorky.

Anybody remember the cool clock in the foyer of the old building that was metal marbles and would click, click, click against each other. When the new minute rolled around the marble would roll down this rollercoaster type rail.

Pep rally at Owens- 7th grade I was to mount Shannon wise. I think I jumped a little too hard and she buckled to the ground. The whole school erupted in laughter! The pep rallies at Owens were like funerals. Everybody just sat there and watched silently.

But pep rallies at West rocked!

John Irvin was memorizing all of our birthday's and telling us all of the #1 songs of the 1970's (artist and title).

Lisa - do you remember when we first got cordless telephones and we each walked to the end of our driveway's to see if we could see each other while we talked on the phone?

03/22/09 09:17 PM #352

Jessica Ramsey (Scott)

Barlow...I didn't even remember we had a look out at the tire...gosh my memory stinks! I guess that is why we have friends to help us remember all the stupid things we did when we were growing up ;)

Lisa Adams (Maplesden)

I hated that trampoline.. Do you remember doing cpr on those dummies in Mrs. Scotts room...( i think it was her room))

03/22/09 09:20 PM #354

Chris Barlow

Jessica - I didn't remember him looking out. I think he was just hanging around. However, if you ever want to know something that happened in school, John Irvin's your man. He remembers everything.

03/22/09 09:22 PM #355

Chris Barlow

It was Ms. Scott's room. We did CPRah.

Lisa Adams (Maplesden)

I don't remember that Chris.. I'm suprised Connie and L.R. spent money on a new phone..haha I remember when it snowed us getting together and playing.. What about all those dogs by your house Chris.. They scared me so bad.. Do you remember me having a bike wreck onetime when me and Debbie were coming to your house.. She said she ran off and left me and you came to help me, she was scared of those dogs.. What a good neighbor and friend.

03/22/09 09:24 PM #357

Lisa Adams (Maplesden)

Oh yeah, it was CPRah wasn't it..

03/22/09 09:25 PM #358

Dana Sides (Pressnell)

For CPR ah.. we had to each buy our mouthpieces so we wouldn't spread the love!

03/22/09 09:27 PM #359

Chris Barlow

Lisa - I can't believe you don't remember the cordless phones. My antenna was metal and stretched out about 5 feet in the air.
What about the time I came to your house and LR made us remove the stuck on kitchen floor? I'm sure it had asbestos in it.

03/22/09 09:28 PM #360

Lisa Adams (Maplesden)

It's a wonder back in the day we didn't all use the same mouth piece... I can remember going to Mace Reece's store and buying one drink and whoever was there, we just all shared it... There's no telling whos all back wash we drank...

Lisa Adams (Maplesden)

I bet it did Chris.. We had such a mess that day.. We all had pear knives and whatever we could find scraping up that floor.. Again, they saved a buck..haha We were free labor.. I think Brian was there too.. I know David Kieff was. Mom has some pictures of that.
