He probably learned stuff you didn't want him to..haha Had a blast... I told them I was now the official event planner... Let ya know when next event is and where... Looks like my house every other week.. AND THAT IS FINE.. Michael next time we'll try to give you more notice than an hour...It's HILARIOUS listening to everyone... AND Jessica, I did make sure BROTHER got home ok again...hahaha Jamie, are you every coming to one of our EVENTS...???? Still waiting on Brad and Charlie to cook..... Going to Leggtown to party today.. (and fish at Debbie and David's house..))))

Brian, you need to come to our next get together... We really do have a blast... Especially, like last night when Brad stared telling Jimmy Kieff stories with my brother in law, David... HILARIOUS..... Who needs Ronnies, we just go to Mohawk Trail and party..hahaha And made it without police showing up... Did have one phone call today from neighbor about NOISE.. Yes, it was my own sister in law, and she was only messing with me, BECAUSE who do you think she heard when she came out her front door to see what noise was.....ME asking if ya'll were to .... good to come in my house... OOOOPS!!!!!! Love new pics that someone put on..

Jamie, you're not alone. I still listen to metal. I've got a special folder in my i-pod for the classics =). And some of my supercool 17-year-old Turkish students wear metal t-shirts to class.

K David, I did the survey. =) Is there somewhere that offers regular golf and minigolf together? My son is little, but he'd probably have fun trying to play the mini version. Maybe then we could all picnic together and then head off to our respective fun areas in 2 groups. Just an idea.

I suggest for our next reunion in 2019 that you all come to Europe. I won't be in Istanbul anymore by then since we're moving in a couple of years, but it will be somewhere cheaper to get to in Europe. I promise to rent a big enough space for everyone to stay for a couple of weeks (wherever everyone decides, mountains or beach or big city) and provide groceries for a couple of weeks. I'm not rich and don't have any desire to be, but it'll be the same cost for me as coming there. I think if we make it to 2019, we deserve to celebrate big time!

Of course, any time any of you find yourself out this way, you are welcome to stay with me. Even if I didn't get to go to school with some of you, you are welcome too. Old friends and new. =)

By the way, whoever spilled that liquid beverage Saturday night, I just finished picking paper towel out of a load of towels I washed... I forgot it was in with those towels... Oh well, just made me laugh, thinking of the beverage on floor and trying to keep dog out of it..ha

They wear mostly the old bands...Led Zeppelin, Judas Priest, Black Sabbath, but a lot of them are into the Scandinavian death metal stuff. You see a few Children of Bodom shirts around. I'm not into death metal, but it's interesting to see. When I do bonus points in class, I sometimes ask questions like where such and such a band is from. Knowing a about metal gets me big brownie points and extra effort in class. =) Oh some of them like Opeth too, so I occasionally ask which band has a song with my name (Face of Melinda). They get to be cool kids for a day when they get a point on their final grades. I like it =). I love playing with the social order.

So if you come to Istanbul to visit, we'll have to schedule it around a metal concert or two. They are usually in the smaller venues. So much fun! =)

Thanks David, so sweet of you to say that. =) I promise the best tour of Istanbul ever. I keep thinking about you these days because my husband starts his required military service Sunday. I've heard that the military makes men out of boys. He's been through enough to be a man already, but a little more maturity couldn't hurt either of us. He was assigned to the Air Force.

Robby Newport guy over in Huntsville did it about 10 or 12 yrs ago.on my right upper arm.its a firefighter with flames around him.i was messing around drawing it and took it over there and he did some small changes and i came home with it.will put a picture up tomorrow of it.
