Comments:

I'll post some info here later, if I remember. I'm in the middle of Girl Scout cookie season and am trying to get my daughter ready to leave on her trip to Spain on March 25, 2010!
Okay, life is about to get super crazy again, but I thought I'd post a little more. I've been a GS volunteer since my daughter joined in preschool--as a tagalong--and she will be graduating May 2010. We are still trying to figure out what she is going to do next year--college or a year off in AmeriCorps . . . Been married since 1991, in Boise since 1993. Our son was a big surprise as he was born in 2007, when his sister was 15! So life took an immediate left turn there and I've been kind of scrambling ever since. I just started training to work for the Census for the next 7-8 weeks and am excited to be part of that. Wish I would have thought to do that in high school--how cool would that have been? Okay, I'm a data nerd so probably few others would think it was cool, but I don't care :-D I think John Lennon's famous quote was written to me, "Life's what happens when you're busy making other plans." Life often seems to pass me by while I'm trying to figure it out! That's okay though, it's been an interesting trip. Gotta go save the teenager! She's trying to pack for a trip and her brother is rather aromatic apparently and won't leave her alone--nothing's friendlier than a wet dog or a stinky kid! ;-)
We're currently trying to figure out what we're going to do as hubby's job disappeared replaced by a much lesser paying job, a series of deaths in the family is making us think we need to be closer as we've been here in Boise about 275 miles from the nearest family, over 350 miles from most of them and we don't get to spend nearly the time with them we'd like, so since Beth is graduating this year, we're thinking of making a super big change, but not sure how we want to do it. Probably would involve moving back to the valley for a couple years and I'm not mentally prepared to do that! ;-) And then moving over to the Washington coast and hopefully buying a place to retire to . . . we'll see! Might have to ask Tara how she managed to get debt-free!

School Story:

Yeah, okay, so I'll think about this too . . .
