Philip Edward Boyd, 66, of Denton, Texas, went home to be with the Lord on November 26, 2025. Born on December 10, 1958, in Denton, Philip lived a life marked by deep faith, unwavering love, and devotion to the people he cherished most.

Philip is survived by his daughter, Bobbie Jo, and his beloved granddaughters, Blythe and Brynlee, who were the light of his life. He is also survived by his loving partner, Shari, and his brothers Paul, Tim, and Mark. Philip has been joyfully reunited in heaven with his parents, Clyde and Bettye Boyd, and his oldest brother, Jon David.

A man who loved God and his family fiercely, Philip will be remembered for his kindness, his loyalty, and the steady, gentle strength he brought into every part of his life. His legacy lives on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

Services honoring Philip’s life will be held on Friday, December 5, 2025, at Liberty Baptist Church in Lewisville, Texas. A viewing will take place at 1:00 p.m., followed by the funeral service at 2:00 p.m.

Philip’s family and friends find comfort in knowing he is at peace, surrounded by the loved ones who went before him, and held safely in God’s embrace.
