I received this from Lanelle Hester Mauldin today.  Please remember Larry and Lanelle in your prayers.

ANNOUNCEMENTS

My husband, Larry, has recently been diagnosed with lymphoma. He has been very sick for about 10 weeks and has had CATscan, PETscan, MRI, and biopsy of four different tissue and bone sites including bone marrow. It has taken a long time to get a diagnosis, but he had his first chemo treatment Friday. Please pray for us both. God is working miracles, but there is no such thing as too much praying. Please pray for me to stay well and strong so I can be a caregiver, and pray for Larry to have a complete and speedy recovery.
Thank you all so very much.

Peggy what is it to laugh about we are not much older than that. You and Travis must have had Tara really young. I love this time change, and I'm ready for spring. Have a good week everyone.

Ralph I hope you got a good report back. I have not had any news lately except my gout seems to be going away and Eleanors broke foot is better. To those classmates who have been sick or have spouses that are sick we pray things are getting better. Eleanor and I lost a good friend this week Charlie Sticher from Athens we will miss him he was a good guy. I see where Tim's wife Ethel has joined the ranks on SS, glad to know some of us will get it before the money's gone. We visited the Fort Benning Infantry Mesuem today had a reminder of Vietnam, then come back to see people want to honor Jane Fonda, really makes you mad. Hope everyone is enjoying the spring and have a good week.

I saw Ralph at the Oglethorpe County Patriot Soccer game this afternoon and he said he felt better than he had in years.  He had several blockages but they took care of them.  He looked great and said he felt great.  Another  prayer answered!  Growing older is not for sissies ;(   By the way, the girls soccer team won their region today and are 4th in the state.  They will play  in the State tournament soon.  Go Patriots!!

We had a great time at the Relay for Life Walkathon on Saturday.  I enjoyed seeing  William Wilson, Robert Mathews and Julie Graham.   Travis said he thought he saw Ralph taking pictures.  The Relay was a success with a big turnout.  Glad to see Warren and Eleanor at church this morning even though I didn't get a chance to talk to them.  Hope everyone has a good week!

Congratulations to Joels wife Debbie she worked her last day friday and entered the world of retirement. Richard Pryor died this past week he was married to Betty Jo veal. I think we all had Ms Veal in school. My son Steven had Mrs Pryor (Veal) as a teacher in college. OCHS grils soccer team plays again Tuesday at home on their way to a state title hopefully.
