Hey classmates whats going on? David, Joel, and I with wives took our annual camping trip this weekend. It started off with a bang when Joel and I showed up on watson mill rd at the same time and had to race to the camp sites to see who got the best site. The next day Joel took David to yard sales against his will and he ended up spending his next month's grocery money buying out the first sale. Then Peggy and Travis came by and sat around the campfire one night and boy does that Peggy get Rowdy. Travis tried to calm her down but with little success. I know her computer is out of order so she can't respond but you can believe every word. We were worried she would get us thrown out of the park. I hope everyone is having as much fun as we are. Lets all get together soon.

Ha ha!! I thought what happened round the camp fire stayed at the campfire! We will take our entertainment on the other side of the bridge next time!! We were just trying to help David get a good sermon topic:-)

But Peggy, from what seems to have been occurring around that camp fire I don't think David could preach a sermon on it, unless it got a little x-rated!!!  Just can't let a bunch of those class of '69 folks get together...things start to get out-of-hand quickly!!!

Love ya'll!

Bobby E.

Peggy I knew you would have to find someway to respond I hope you were able to fix your computer. David did talk about you a lot in his sermon Sunday, come to think of it maybe it was me he was talking about, no wait I pretty sure it was Joel not us. we had lots of fun already looking forward to next year.

Warren, y'all picked the coldest night of the year to go camping.  I almost froze to death sitting in a deer stand Saturday morning.  Albert and I were hunting in Goosepond Saturday.  If we had known y'all were camping at Watson's Mill, we might have raided you.  I remember stories of one camping trip to Enterprise.  I think the campers were Wayne Black, Fuzz Bridges, Marcus Bridges, David, Johnny Rat Glenn, maybe Warren, Albert and several others.  It is hard to believe that we have lost Wayne and Dennis. I am sure your camping trip was a lot of fun.

Edd, it never got cold where we were at Saturday night. Just ask Margie!! Had a really good time telling stories about the past. Maybe we should have a reunion around the campfire next time! Joel and David we keep looking up in the trees but haven't seen anything exciting yet!

Edd it was a long time ago but I think it was snowing some that night in enterprise. Wish we had known you were close by it would have been fun to have everyone come by. And yes it was as cold but Margie slept with no heat and the windows open on their camper. David came out like an Ice Cube every morning that what he gets marring a younger women. Peggy I'm not looking up in no tree dont wont to see that. Tim just set a date and if only a few can show up I'm sure it will be fun.

Edd I was just thinking we have lost 3 people from that night at veribest. Wayne, Dennis, and one that was younger than us Jerald Allgood. All died to young so when we get a chance to have fun like we did this weekend we had all better take advantage.

I hope everyone has a good thanksgiving. Edd I been upset with you this week because you haven't kept the deer population down in goose pond and I had one run into my truck this week. So let Edie read this and tell her you must go hunting every weekend from now till deer season is over for the safety of the people traveling in goose pond. You and Albert need to kill 5 or 6 every week. Well don't eat to much this thanksgiving, ya'l know how we pack on the pounds these days.

11/29/13 10:38 AM #509

Warren Mason

Well I didn't follow my own advise and I Ate to much yesterday. It was a good thanksgiving I hope it was for everyone else.

Hey Warren, I feel your pain! I whacked a deer with my truck about three weeks ago...messed up the front end. The hunters these days are wimpy! These young guys just can't get enough kitchen passes to go out and desimate the deer population for the safety of our citizens! Where are the men these days?
