Barbara Thompson, age 66, of Athens, Georgia passed on August 4, 2017.

Survivors include her husband, Percy L. Thompson Sr.; daughter, Antonia Elaine Carter; mother, Mamie L. Carter, two grand daughters, Passion Marquita Deadwilder and Kia Valencia Carter; two great-grandchildren, Cardea' Ra'kez Willingham and Autumn Jai Gantt; Goddaughter, Novella Edwards; two step-sons, Craig Burton and Percy L. Thompson Jr.; two step-grandsons, Andrew Burton and Percy L. Thompson III; five sisters Pearlene Walter, Judy Carter, Sherry Carter, Minnie Hall, and Delois Slacks; four brothers, Randy Carter, Curtis Huff, Willie Huff, and Marion Fleming. 

Funeral service will be 12:00 noon, Friday, August 11, 2017 from the Hill Chapel Baptist Church, with interment in Athens Memory Gardens.
