Linda, I certainly had a good Christmas, but sure am glad it is over!  Happy New Year -- can you believe how fast last year went?  That must be a sign that I am getting old!!!  Hope you have a great year and that we can all get together sometime before too much longer!

We had a great time at the joint class reunion last night -- so many people I had not seen in SO very long!  Had a short visit from several members of the Class of 68 -- was great to see them all!!!

I am at beautiful Hilton Head Island, SC and wishing all of you could see the view from my balcony this morning.  The sun just broke through the clouds and has lit up the ocean like a nest of jewels glistening in the distance!

To all classmates:

I pray that everyone had a Merry Christmas and will have a Powerful, Productive, and Prosperous New Year.  In the Name of Jesus!

I am sorry to be the bearer of bad news - I was informed on this past Christmas Eve Day that one of our Classmates was found dead this past Saturday by her Daughter.

The classmate was Cleo Sims.  As of now, I have no details or do not know of any arrangements.  Check the Oglethorpe Newspaper and or the Athens Banner-Herald, by Thursday and/or Friday of this week!!!

I pray Sandra that I put this in the right area, so that everyone will be able to read this!!!

I would be interested in a Spring reunion, they have already announced at the plant that due to a routine shutdown no one can take vacation in the months of Sept. and Oct.  I would enjoy seeing everyone again.

Thanks Gail and Mary!  I think maybe around mid May mght be good.  After that people will.be dealing with graduations and vacation planning.  Did y'all get the email I sent through this website?  I have not heard from anyone via email.so I suspect it didn't go...or maybe folks just aren't interested.  I need to send an email via my regular channels!
