Sandra Munday Corry

I worked as a registered nurse at Athens Regional Medical Center until 1995. Attended University of Tennessee in Chattanooga and received my Master of Science in Nursing - Anesthesia. Met my husband, James, on a blind date and we were married 10 months later. We attend a Disciples of Christ Church where James serves as a deacon. I work part-time at a local hospital and we homeschool our two children. I teach science at a homeschool coop to twenty-five 2nd and 3rd graders. We have also organized a Rockhound club for 27 kids and take them on rockhunts over TN, GA, and NC, and teach them earth sciences.

One of my best memories was taking Driver's Ed with Coach Nunnally. This class was before lunch and he would let us drive to McDonalds on Gaines School Road and we didn't have to come back until lunch time was over. Cindy, Ellen, Sheryl and I felt so grown up getting to go to Athens. Luckily for us he was such a responsible teacher and we were given the best of care.

I really loved Coach Mathews' class but had a real problem for talking to Cindy in class. When he signed my yearbook, he made not that he was worried that I would have back and neck problems because I was always turned around in my seat.
