Oh i see Danny is still here, let me explain myself...SEWarren hosted a two-day "seminar" on Wed and Thu this past week, called Every 15 Minutes.  It is a national program that helps provide awareness to teenage drinking and driving.  It was VERY powerful and intense for several of the kids, including my son.  The enactments were very real and went as far as arresting, booking, and jailing the drunk drivers, the had funerals/memorials for the victims, and even life-flighted one kid.  Tyler said it REALLY impacted his thinking on alot of things.  In talking to him about this, it brought back many painful memories for me also.  Wish they had done something like this when we were in school...

I hope that makes kids think about their actions. Sadly, it probably will not for most. I think we should let five year olds drink and by the time they get a license they will be sick of drinking. HUH? Should I run for president with that platform?

Well what age is it in other countries?  Very very young. And no Danny, this does not put you in the running for office.  Well, maybe if you and Pat Thompson ran against each other.  That would be very entertaining.  An Independent, a very liberal Democrat, oh, and Curt.  Perfect:)

Not sure that would be a pliable forum to run on, Danny.  ha ha  I just hope it saves lives, however few or many it may be.  Tyler said alot of kids spent most of the two days crying, whether it be from the enactments or from painful memories.  Lori - Kylie Horton was one of the kids that was arrested for driving drunk, Dave said it was quite intense for her and them.  They arrested her, booked her, put her in jail and she even had to make her one phone call.
