Excellent!

Am I going to be the only Hawkeye fan? The South will rise again even if it is me against the Clones. Is most of Warren county Clone country? If so, we could make the float look as though the Clones are clobbering the lone Hawkeye fan. What am I saying? HA HA!!!!! Sounds fun. Let's get the # 1 float again!

Lori has proposed we take on the Lacona Celebration parade competition this year and plan the reunion around that weekend. I think it is a good idea. What do you think?

Lori Godlove (Goering)

We just had our Class Reunion meeting tonight. Very excited about our class float along with the reunion on Sept 27 for the Parade and Sept 28 for the Reunion. We would love to have as many of our classmates as we can to build this float. If you can't ,we would appreciate any donations of NAPKINS and CHICKEN WIRE:) Yep, we are going to do this the "old" fashion way. Love it. The Class of 78 keeps on rocking'. Let me know if you can donate.  It should be a fun weekend.  Class of 1967 already has their float halfway done.  Class of 1968 is on the bandwagon, along with Class of 1995.  If you have siblings in the Alumni Classes, pass it on about the parade.  Looking for volunteers to help set up too.!

Lori Godlove (Goering)

It involves napkins.  (Class of 78 keeps on rocking- Greg is working on the Warhawk head)Please send NAPKINS. Will start working on it probably Monday.

What a blessing it was to see so many classmates, guests, and former teachers yesterday!  To any I missed speaking with, forgive me, it seems there never is enough time in one evening.  To those who didn't attend, whether in states far away, towns nearby, or those that have passed on, you were missed and thought of.

A big thank you to all who participated, organized, worked, encouraged, funded, etc.!!

A special big thanks to the Reunion Committee: Scott Harmison, Lori (Godlove) Goering, Patty (Hunter) Marshall, Kevin and Becky King, Barb (Coffman) Weeks, and Mike Allen.

Until next time,

Kelly

It was great seeing you and Arvella again, Kelly!  As a committee, we talked about just planning random activities too like maybe meeting at a restaurant a couple of times a year and putting the invite out there for anyone who can make it.   Let us know if you have any suggestions!!  It's great that we have the website and Facebook so that we can get the word out and keep in touch!!
