Had a super time with everyone last night!  Saw Mike's sign from his truck "Noble Ford- Mike Allen" on a truck in Milo today.  And it wasn't Mike's truck either- now how funny is that?  And I will not tell who has it.  I bet it will be on a lot of vehicles before he gets it back:)  Oh well, good advertising for you Mike.

We were a small bunch but we shared some good food, good conversation and a lot of laughs!  A heartfelt thank you to Pauletta and Scott Mealey, Kelly and Arvella Miller and Rick and Diane Chambers for braving the heat and sharing the evening with us at Hickory Hills on Saturday.  Kelly, Arvella and Rick even got in a round of SmashBall.  And the timing wasn't too off for a belated birthday for Kelly in July, my birthday on August 10, a one-day belated birthday for Pauletta on the 20th and Rick's birthday coming up in September.  Plus Kevin and I are celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary today.  The frosting on the cakes melted a bit but it was good to catch up with those who were there.  Thank you again!

Hello my fellow classmates!  Hope all is well.  I have noticed that quite a few of us are communicating through facebook.  And I am curious to see how many of us are willing to give up this site up and visit, chat, ect. through facebook.  I do realize one or two of you do not like FB, but I think we would communicate better.  So what's your thoughts my friends?

Ok Terri, I understand.  Good news,  my daughter and son in law expecting May 3rd.  After son Grant and girlfriend Jill deliver in October, we will give  9 grandchildren.  1 step granddaughter, 7 grandsons, and not sure with Nicole and John yet. But if the baby is a boy, he is going to look pretty funny in the dress I have been saving for 28 years:)  Whew!  Can't put it in on FB yet because Nicole and John need to tell all 150 parents of the gym first.  Boy that is killing me!

congrats Lori on the new grandbaby ! I wanted to let everyone know but didn't want to post on fb  what is going on with my youngest Grandaughter they did an MRI today and found that she has a tumor on her spine  from c2 to c6 she is seeing a specialist in Iowa City tomorrow and they talk like it will be surgery to remove it just wanted to  let all my classmates know as Ive heard that prayer works wonders so if you all will please pray for Lil Avery Jo I would appriciate it ....... thank you all

And about a week later- not much better.  Well, I as was going through some of my "junk" today,  and I got to thinking.  This has been our "50th" year for most- and what better way to say Good bye than....................yes a New Year's Eve party?  A fancy affair perhaps?  I am posting this here for  non-Facebook users to get your thoughts.  Will send to FB users as well. And about 3 years later, I didn't even pay attention that we can change our fonts and colors!

Saw (seen?) a Minnesotian classmate in Indianola Hy Vee on Sunday.  Need to pop in once in awhile Danny.  Oh and I find the best thing about being on FB, I can ask Ms. Oldham if I am writing something right, when writing something. (I must ask her about this)What a neat teacher we had!
