Hello, hello, hello! Back from South Carolina, had a great time, but I LOVE IOWA! Scott glad to see you are giving Jim a hard time. So Jim we will see you Saturday, right? Teri, I did get one of the donation papers from Wal-mart, if you can tell me how to fill this thing out, it would be greatly appreciated. Jim should have the tax ID# from his church, so that is my start. Other than that, it is gibberish. Just email me directly, so I don't look so stupid to everyone.

You got me for ALL day in Milo. I can't do the run itself, but I can help set up and get anything you need done in Milo. I will see what I can do for donations, there are several places I have worked with in the past that were real generous I will check with them again. If you need something specific, just email me directly. I will also contact some people in Indianola that do a lot of poker runs and let them know.

Lori - where is the next meeting, I see it is June 5th in Indianola, anywhere in particular?? And what time?? Sorry I haven't gotten back to you about the teacher thing, been swamped at work and busy at home. I will get that to you this week sometime.

AND AS FAR AS DONATIONS ANYTHING WORKS MONEY, AUCTION ITEMS, FOOD ALL WE CAN GET IS GREAT AND VERY MUCH APPRECIATED. WE SEEM TO BE HAVING A LITTLE TROUBLE WITH SOME FOOD ITEMS SUCH AS BUNS,CHIPS AND CONDIMENTS SEEMS NONE OF THE AREA GROCERY STORES CAN HELP MUCH WHICH I THINK IS VERY SAD WHAT WOULD THEY THINK IF EVERYONE STOPPED BUYING FROM THEM AND GREW THEIR OWN THEY ARE AS BAD AS THE DAMN OIL COMPANIES. WE HAVE THE MEAT COVERED AS DAVE RENOYLDS HAS DONATED A HOG AND MY BROTHER HAS DONATED 100 IBS OF HAMBURGER. WE NEED SIDE DISHES AND DESSERTS FOR THE MEAL AND MAYBE SOME BAKED GOODS FOR THE AUCTION. Wew! I was nervous that everyone was gone. Dan I think last count was 23, Becky sent an email out to everyone, so hopefully get back some good responses. And I have been calling those who do on have internet. Should know more in the middle of the week. Our next meeting is June 5 at LaCasa's in Indianola for those who would love to join us. If there is anyone out there that did not get an invite, let me know, so I can get it out.
Scott if you need me to run to Des Moines night next week, let me know. Also we are having a meeting for the benefit Sunday at Raleigh's World down by Norwood if anyone wants to pop in.

Lori and I have been talking about ideas for the float. I was trying to remember the fashions of the 70s - other than "smock tops" (you guys won't know what the heck I am talking about) blue jeans, bib overalls, and platform shoes I couldn't remember what we wore, so looked it up on You Tube - you gotta love You Tube! Ha. Anyway...here is what we wore. Oh and you guys looked so great in those leisure suits! Hee.

Yesterday was an awesome day for Kathy's Ride. We had a lot of riders, a lot of support and a lot of fun. I don't know about the rest of the committee, but I am dead tired, but well satisfied. And Kathy was just in awe! Thank you so much to our class. I would give you a list, but you all know who you are. Oh and we will be putting a picture on soon of our fearless leader Scott, who broke a belt on his motorcycle on the ride. The bike was loaded up on the bus, and he was a trooper. You will see pictures of him and Michelle pretending they were still riding the bike on the BUS! How fun!

Next the class reunion. Have you all contacted Kristi to order your T-shirt? ready for the float? Ready to come back to Warren County? Ready to see your classmates who you grew up with and had know 1/4 of your life? Or more? I am excited! Can't wait to see everyone.

I got on the forum this morning to see how things went with Kathy's fundraiser! Glad to hear that it went so well. I knew it would. You all are super people for doing this for our dear classmate Kathy!

Hey, Wayne and I will be watching the parade from the sidelines (throw Wayne some candy!). :) I don't think my sister, Darla, is going to come down to Milo for the parade (we will be staying with her in Des Moines), SO I need to be by my husband's side to protect him from all the mean Iowans! Hee. Seriously I feel like I should be with him, introducing him to people.

I also do not think we will be at the barbecue BUT of course we will be at the dinner on Saturday night and so looking forward to it! Marla is having a barbecue at her house late day on the 4th and our weekend will be SHORT and family needs to get some of our attention too!

Thanks Lori on the congratulations on Emma. We are very excited but I am starting to have major cold feet and am terrified - wondering if we are too old to be doing this. I hope and pray that we will be around a few years for this little child - that is my biggest fear. I just need to have faith that if God brings our family together, then he will provide.

Again congratulations on the success of the "bike" ride! Can't wait to see photos.
