I've spent the last four months working in a school that has failed state expectations for the past several years. Pretty frustrating, especially since my students have been bringing the school's average up (I teach the gifted, and most are reading on an upper high school or college level).
With a new principal who has no idea what he is doing, it makes for an interesting year. I'm beginning to start the second semester countdown to summer break, and looking forward to get back to Liberty in June for my dad's birthday, and to see whomever I can entice out for a beer.
