This photo was taken at the Jewell Basketball Recognition Dinner at this year's Homecoming. Pictured left to right: Chuck Johnson, me, Larry Holly and Bud Fisher. We had a blast reminiscing about our 1963 trip to Texas during the Christmas/New Year's break.

This picture was taken before the San Antonio Spurs won the NBA Championship in 2014. I'm there with my golfing buddies. Our seats were right above the ABC telecast booth and before the game started and at halftime, we were able to watch them broadcast their analysis live. Spurs 104, Miami Heat 87

Our new website is a great vehicle for us to keep in touch with each other as well as stay abreast to activities planned for our class and the college. There has been some conversation among those of us who attended our 50 year reunion at Jewell to have another organized reunion in 5 years (2020) instead of waiting for Jewell's "Celebration of Golden Classes" that will fall on our 60 year reunion in 2025.

Jewell was a great experience that provided me with a firm foundation upon which to build a successful military career and raise a family. Returning to Jewell after 50 years was a lot of fun and the alumni staff did a remarkable job of hosting us. It was great to renew friendships and see classmates I hadn't seen in many years.
