Charles Johnson

After graduation, I earned my MS in Biology from Illinois State and then was accepted to the University of Missouri School of Osteopathic Medicine where I received my MDO. I entered private practice in Family Medicine for 25 years. After leaving private practice, I formed a partnership and started a plastic container company in Kansas City where I worked until 2004 when I retired completely.

My wife Elizabeth and I enjoy vacationing in Switzerland. We have a condominium there where we used to ski on a regular basis. Now, we go just to enjoy the beautiful scenery and all the fun things Switzerland has to offer like hiking and sightseeing.

Our home in Lee's Summit is right on one of the area's many lakes and we have a pontoon boat that we enjoy taking out on the water.

I enjoyed seeing a lot of my classmates at this year's 50 year reunion. The tailgate party and our class dinner at La Costa Mexican Restaurant were a blast where we "caught up" and swapped stories and reminised about our college days.

I had a great time at Jewell where I majored in Biology. I played basketball and was co-captain my senior year. I threw the javelin and high jumped for the track team. Member of Phi Gamma Delta and the "J" Club. I was vice president of our senior class.
