Mary was a very dear friend of mine for many years. Once when we were sitting on the swings in her back yard, she turned to me and said, "I don't think I am going to live very long." I remember it was an odd thing to say at the time and didn't think much of it until she passed so suddenly and so young. Then I remembered her foretelling me this. It was strange how she had known. I also remember how she was so full of energy. I had the feeling she was trying to get as much living in as possible. Even after a full day of work, she wanted to go to Revinia, then out clubbing after that, on a weeknight. I could hardly keep up with her. We went a lot of places together and I have lots of fun memories of our adventures including going to Europe with my mom and me in the early '80s. I have missed her for a long time now and would sure like to have a conversation with her today. The world has changed so much since her passing, but it doesn't change how I felt about her. She was my closest friend ever, her family too. Her mom passed at about the same age of the same condition. She was a wonderful woman! I miss them both. Her mom would always order chicken from Henry's whenever I came to town to visit, because she knew it was my favorite. Lots of good memories! Miss you Mar!
