It is with a heavy heart that the Round Lake Fire District announces the passing of former File Marshal Doug Zeigler. Doug started with the fire district in 1993 as a volunteer firefighter and began working in the Fire Prevention Bureau in 1999. Doug retired in 2016. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Very sad to hear. As I recall Doug was a comical kid in hs. I always enjoyed his sense of humor and kind smile. May he Rest In Peace.
