Joined the U.S. Army my between my Junior & Senior year of high school and officially left in July of 1985. Spent time at Ft. Jackson, SC, Ft. Gordon, GA, Ft. Hood, TX & finished active duty at Camp Casey, South Korea. Spent a year at The Ohio State University in Columbus where I shared an apartment with fellow classmate Mark Jones. Moved back to Lima and have had several jobs over the years. Started a karaoke/DJ business in Sept. 1995 and have enjoyed that ever since. Have been a restaurant manager at Rax, Happy Daz, Frickers, Cactus Flats, Cracker Barrel & Appelbee's. I owned my own restaurant called "The Buck Stop Cafe". Always think of maybe getting a "real" job again someday but then realize, I love what I do and it more than pays the bills. I got married to Perry High's Kathy Van Hyning in 1998. We had two wonderful boys. Got divorced in 2007 but are still friends. Been single ever since.
