Car crash in Columbus.........sad. Dont know if she was married or had kids. She had a very kind HEART!!!! I was moved when I found out. Brian Tate had told me of this. Most people know Her as Andrea,.....but she let me call her Sam, when no one was around... ;-)

So sad and unexpected. It's so bizarre, I was waiting on her friend reply on facebook.

Hello.....I am Andrea's mother who would like to let you
know that Andrea died on 3/11/09 from an Auto Accident
in Cincinnati,Oh on I-75. We will never know what happened.. she was going home after working late shift at
her part time job (Bogarts). We think that she most likely fell asleep and hit a parked state truck. No one else was injured.

It has been almost 5 mo's and still seems so unreal. Andrea was never married and no children. She loved life, her family & friends and lived for her two dogs which she spoiled rotten.

Anybody wishing to contact us about Andrea--please feel free to do so. Thanks for your thoughts and have a good time at your reunion...Andrea will be there looking over you.

Mrs. West,

Thank you so much for contacting her classmates. We are so very sorry for your loss. Andrea was a wonderful person and friend. While I did not keep in touch with her after high school, I have very fond memories of her at Lima Senior. Please know our thoughts are with you and your family.

Hello again Class of 89'

I rec'd this message from Jennifer and just want you all to know how much we appeciate your thoughts & prayers. We rec'd numerous cards/visits back in March but I just knew everything happened so fast...that alot of you would not have seen it. There was no article in Lima News about her accident-just her obituary and if I can -I'll get a picture to you.

I treasure this verse:
No farewell words were spoken
No Time to say goodbye
You were gone before we knew it
And only GOD knows why. <3

Class of 89--you meant alot to my beautiful daughter. TakeCare and Be Safe.
Love,Yolanda West

ps Also want to Thank You for this beautiful memorial
page you have presented.

Mrs. West,
I have alot of great memories of Andrea..she was in my Girl Scout troop..My Mom Joyce was the leader. In the 6th grade at Emerson we had to make a book of stories and illustrate it. If we wanted we could have help with the pictures..of course Andrea was very artistic even then so she helped me with my pictures. I wrote a story about Rick Springfield and she illustrated it. I still have the book and it says story by Julie Phillips and illustrated by Andrea Miller. I saw her many years ago when I was at Bogarts for a concert and my sister Stacy and I recognized her right away and got to talk to her a bit. She was a beautiful, sweet, funny and talented girl and will be missed. I am so sorry for your loss. I have a picture of the whole girl scout troop on my old front porch with her in it. If you would like it I would gladly send it to you.

God Bless,
Julie (Phillips) Fegley

Andrea was my cousin. I hadn't seen her since I moved to Albuquerque in 2000. I was so hoping to see her at my parents anniversay party or the reunion. Just doesn't seem possible.

My prayers go out to the family of Andrea. I didn't know her well but remember her as a very beautiful classmate. From the posts of others, it seems her personality was just as beautiful.

May she forever dance with the Lord!
