Andy it is funny you should ask about how many fellow classmates are in corrections facilities. When Kim,Zak, and myself started looking for updated info on fellow classmates. I began my search with the help of the allen county municipal court website.

well now that you mention it, you should probably try other state and county correction facilities and work your way out it would be kinda funny to see how many people are actually in there. i myself have spent a month in the Dallas County jail in the big state of Texas. no it wasnt fun and i dont recomend it as a vacation spot either.lol. and sence we are on the subject why do they call them correctional facilities, they sure the hell don't correct much. i mean look at all the percentages of people comitting crimes after being released. it's pretty high, that's why they are called repeat offenders.

I know of couple that spent a fair amount of time in prison but I think they're out now .. and no i didn't put them there .. besides if it wasn't for the few that were "on vacation" during graduation we would still be there waiting for our names to be called instead of enjoying one of lifes greatest things ... BEER!

Well lets see.... I was arrested in 2004 for a dui and was sentenced to 5 days and served them in the Allen County Jail.. yeah on my first offense none the less, Needless to say I don't use that attorney anymore...LOL... Come on people, if Christy and I can be honest, I know there are more criminal than just us from our class. LMAO

I go to jail 2 to 4 days a week and occasionally go to prison, but it is to see clients so I come and go as I please. Actually spent about an hour with Maurice Clarett a few months ago (yes, the OSU RB) but not taking any further action on that case (he will be out for training camp 09). I did get to spend some time as "defendant" in front of judges in Lucas (underage possession of alcohol, 9 years ago... expunged) and Allen Counties (DUI, 8 years ago, where, like Steve, I also had a shitty lawyer, but I didn't know until I started this biz years later) I never spent any time in the slammer, just 3 days at dui-camp at that shitty hotel on 81 where I actually ran into a buddy I hadn't seen in years.

I don't recommend getting arrested, but I think it made me a better at the criminal defense end of my practice.

Joe, who was "on vacation" during graduation? ... other than Senior Peppers and Kidwell, who were no doubt on vacation with Bob Marley as usual.

It was a general response I don't know anyone specific but lets call it what it was ..... Lima Senior! I'm sure there were people who were suppose to graduate that day with us but were locked up. Now that I think about let me do some research and see maybe I can find 1 or 2 that were locked up.

As far as going to jail... especially in HS ... I just thank god I was fast and the cops weren't or there could have been a few times that I would have been callin Andy to bail me out lol!

11/11/08 11:15 PM #28

i think that goes for alot of people joe..lol

11/16/08 04:23 AM #30

Christy Soap (Jackson)

OMG you guys are hilarious!!! I never been arrested though...

11/22/08 04:25 PM #32

Heidi Pauff (Sadler)

Gosh Andy, Looks like you can get some clients at our reunion:)

11/24/08 02:12 AM #33

Andrew R Bucher

Providing motions and other work product for a pro se client can be construed as aiding the Unauthorized Practice of Law. Considering that I am defending a UPL client against whom 114 million is being sought, I will refrain from disseminating motions amongst my fellow alums at this time.

oh, well it never hurts to try and ask. oh, and there is such a thing as representing yourself, or another person can chose for you to reresent them and no you dont have to be a lawyer, you can even have a law student help you out. and how do i know all this, because i am represnting my brother who is faceing 6 felonys in 2 different counties and i have no legal experience, meaning i never went to school for it. so not everybody knows everything.

Ignorance IS NOT BLISS, SO Stop bragging about JAIL time and whatnot. That is my response to this lonnnng forum

12/02/08 10:01 PM #40

Christy Soap (Jackson)

well we are not bragging just stating what has happened over the years.and realizing how many of us could still be beind bars. because it seems to me that we are missing alot of class mates profiles. we were just trying to give a little help in getting our class back together. and i went to class and did what i was suppose to. i was a nerd remember. oh wait thats right you only remember the popular people.i didnt get into trouble until i moved to dallas. so ha. anyway love you guys see you soon.lololololol.

I agree Zak!!

This forum seems to have taken a negative turn..LMAO. There is a lot of positive has came out of our class as well. So lets start focusing on that. A lot of people I talk to, run into or keep in touch with have done alot of good in their lives and have achieved alot to be proud of. So Congrats to everyone that has found happiness in their lives, whether it be with career, family, finding it within themselves, or all the above.

I am happy to see so many doing so well and smiles upon many faces. So once again Class of 99 Congrats to all of you that have done well.
