Deceased Oct 30 1995. One of my best memories of Bob is when I was over at his house for dinner on the same night as his younger sister was going on her first date. Between Bob, his brothers, me and a couple of others I bet that boy was pretty sure he better have young sis home on time. The consequences were too high.
Other memories- riding in Bob's Super Bee.
Going and seeing Dirty Harry with Bob and several others. The theatre and other patrons probably didn't appreciate our group much.
I had the privilege of being with Bob when he passed away. In those last few days, he was in and out but he knew what was happening and by God's grace he was at peace when he finally left us. He was a wonderful friend and I miss his smile and his laughter. He was taken away from us much too soon.
Bobby, Bobby, Bobby!! We both called each other Bobby in High School. The fall of our senior year Bob & I worked out together. For you wrestlers, he never could put the guiatine on me. I guess Bob & I were sort of renagades in high school the fall of our senior year. We both quit football and Bobby had the parties at his uncles. I was one of his bouncers. I remember when Coach Bob Els & Coach Barry Alverez came up to Bobby & me and told us none of the football players better be invited to your party. It was a the night before a game. We told 'em we couldn't control that. For you guys who were there I won't tell!! Plus now I don't remember. Ha, Ha!! I do remember the Football State Championship. Bobby and I went to every game & sat together and even went on the rode. After High School we hung out a bit but life goes in different directions. It was an honor in 1995 to attend his services when he passed away!! Thanks for the memories Bobby!!

Wrestling with Bob was always a challenge.
