Obituary: |
Michael was born on May 16, 1954, in Stromsburg, NE to Albert and Fern (Christensen) Hoffer. He graduated from North East High School in Lincoln, NE. Michael served in the US Navy and is a veteran of Vietnam. On March 27, 1980, Michael was united in marriage to Mary Lannigan in Lincoln, NE. Michael passed away on August 15, 2009, at his home in Lincoln at the age of 55 years, 2 months and 30 days. He is survived by his wife, Mary; two daughters, Sarah King and Rebecca and her husband Aaron Davis both of Lincoln, NE; three sisters, Mary Jane Hoffer of North Platte, NE, Nanci Wurm of Bennet, NE and Kristine and her husband Ibou Djia of Bamako, Africa; mother, Fern Hoffer of Lincoln, NE; three grandchildren Peyton King, Benjaman King and Brennan Davis; Michael was preceded in death by his father, Albert Hoffer; brother, William Hoffer; brother-in-law, Jim Wurm.
