Leslie Outz-Trullinger Chatted with Daniel Payne and yes Dixie is gone. She passed away in May 2003 from a rare blood cancer. She had been a professor at UNL at the time. Her husband was Tom Doughty, a 1971 graduate, who died in 1983 from a motorcycle accident.

Mark Bach I personally worked with Tom Doughty for several years at Goodyear. He was a fun guy to be around and I felt really sad for Dixie when he died. It's sad to know they're both gone.
