CEDAR CREEK- Jerald Allen "Jerry" Wurdeman, 55, of Cedar Creek, passed away on Wednesday, Oct. 27, 2010, after a lengthy illness.

He was born on Dec. 31, 1954, in Columbus. Jerald graduated from Lincoln Northeast High School and the University of Nebraska. During his life, he practiced as a CPA, specializing in corporate taxes. Jerald was an avid hunter and sportsman.

Jerald is survived by his parents, Lowell and Geraldine Wurdeman, of Lincoln, formerly of Monroe; sister and brother-in-law, Glenda and Steve Clare; brother, Randy Wurdeman, all of Lincoln; nephew, Aaron Clare, of Columbia, Mo.; niece, Tessa Clare, of Boston, Mass.; many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Jerald was preceded in death by his paternal and maternal grandparents.

Memorial services will be held at 10 a.m., Monday, at Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home, 6800 S. 14th Street  in Lincoln. Rev. Brad Beckman will officiate the service. The family will greet friends from 3-5 p.m on Sunday, at Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home.

Mark Bach I read about two weeks ago that Jerald "Jerry" Wurdeman passed away. I hope some of you remember him. I first got to know Jerald at Charles Culler. He had a great sense of humor. Maybe someone can share a story or two about their experiences with Jerald?
