Karen R. (Harpster) Schaffert, 81, of Lincoln, NE, died on February 6, 2026. Karen was born January 24, 1945 to Bernard & Mary Harpster of Nebraska City, NE.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband James and brother Gary.

Her memory will be cherished by her sons, Todd Schaffert of Davenport, IA, Greg Schaffert of Omaha, NE, grandchildren Mercy, Rowan and Rae Schaffert, and other friends and loved ones.

Funeral service, with reception/fellowship to follow, will be held on Friday, 2/13/26 @ 1:00 p.m. at Butherus, Maser & Love Funeral Home, 4040 A Street, Lincoln.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to Cause for Paws or Tabitha Hospice.
