Some of you people may be so old that you are about to have a 20 year high school reunion but there is NO WAY that I am. Am I? ... Really??? AH MAN!!!

Short version of "since '88": SFA, Graduated and married Becky (Powell '89) in '92. Moved 8 times in 7 years including 2 years towards the beginning back in Lindale teaching with Dad. Moved a couple more times in the next 5 years landing in College Sation where we have now been for 4 years. Plan to stay here until that sweet chariot swings low. If we never load another U-Haul, I'll be fine with that. Life is GREAT! Getting younger every year!

Several have asked about Dad so let me add that. He and Mom still live in Lindale in the same house. He retired in '96 and has done a little bit of teaching lessons and part time teaching since but mostly just takes it easy. He has had a plethora of health problems but as always, has fought bravely through them. He was recently informed that this summer he will be inducted into the Texas Bandmasters' Hall of Fame. In fact that will happen about 3 days after our reunion. I am already working on trying to get him to the reunion but I wouldn't count on it. I know that he would love it if those of you who were close to him went by to see him though.

I can't remember that far back, I'm too old. I didn't think I was but you keep telling me we have a 20 year reunion!

Oh wait, something is coming back to me ... the best thing that ever happened to me. Meeting and starting to date my best friend, wife, love, and future, ... What was her name again? ... Oh yeah, Becky.

Actually many stories come to mind but I've already typed too much and you probably aren't even still reading at this point. Besides, if we tell them now, what will we talk about at the reunion? Can't wait to see everyone!!!
