Tell us what you have been doing since your mission, where you've lived, what things you are involved in, what your children are doing, or any other items of interest you can share with us.
I listen to Roberto Carlos (Brazilian) and Tony Carreira music all the time.
Brian Fillmore (Azores District President - Terceira) retired from the military two years ago and moved directly from the Azores to the home immediately to the south of mine. We speak Portuguese together - sautaque Micalence. One of his councelors (Rui Rijo - now deceased) was a member who I had baptized years earlier and had lost touch with. ...it's a very small world.
I have a facebook page under the name of "Bruce Adams" in connection with "AdamsFamily53@msn.com" with lots of pictures of my family.
In December 2007, after suffering over 5 years of excrutiating pain (Trigeminal Neuralgia), heavy frequent doses of narcotics and anti-seizure meds, I had reached my limit of pain tollerance and began touching the void of despair.
Fortunately, doctors discovered and successfully removed a brain tumor in early January of 2008. Although I have some lingering complications, I'm active, rejuvinated, and greatful for the blessing of life and the ability to work and to be allowed to raise my family and be with my wife. The Lord IS mindful of each of us - individually!
The pictures below are of me and my family in June 2009 - immediately following the setting apart of my oldest son Tanner as a missionary assigned to labor in the Madrid Spain Mission for 2 years.
