Only 4 days until the reunion events begin. Many of you have questions for one another........do you have any questions that would be good to use as a survey or poll for the entire class? Write me and tell me your ideas

Hey everyone, i've had several fellow graduates ask if there is any way to get a copy of our senior annual. Does anyone know? I thought maybe they could check with the school.

LaDonna & Dana and everyone on the Reunion Committee,

Thanks for putting all this together. I know how much work and effort has gone into everything.

I am so looking forward to seeing everyone again, and also my sadness at those of us who have passed.

See some of you on the 11th and everyone on the 12th.

OK! I have read everyone's school memories and it appears no one had my bright idea of disclosing their most embarrassing moment. Thanks a lot guys! Now on to great memories...Does anyone remember "Shakey's Pizza? I remember going to watch Richard Manson and others perform (and eat awesome pizza of course.) It will be wonderful to see you all! Does anyone remember a really big fight that broke out in the front courtyard, it was full of guys fighting, I remember that being a big deal back then.
Anyway my most vivid memory was Mrs. Trotter hitting them with her purse and pulling boys apart and yelling at them to stop. She was a very determined lady! And brave.......ha!

I have read through every single classmate profile. I love seeing the pictures of you and your families. ADD MORE!!! Another great memory, making brownies, coca cola cake and cookies for the football and basketball players on game day. Oh wait, that should be one of THEIR favorite memories (c:

It was so great to see everyone last night. Randy and I had a great time. Dana, Ladonna, and everyone else who worked on the committee you did a great job getting this event done. You all deserve a round of applause.

Yes, I also remember Shakey's and Pizza Inn. I wonder if the kids these days will have great gathering places to remember back on. Probably not. They are to busy texting back and forth on their cell phones. Who needs to meet?

Hope to see you all again tonight.

WAS THAT FUN OR WHAT???? I am exhausted and having a plethora of emotions.....I have never hugged so many people and felt so "connected" in a long time..... I shed some tears Sunday thankful for the time with all of you at the reunion, sad that it is all over, sad that so many I had hoped to see did not come, thrilled that more than we expected did come, even people from other classes that found out about the party, relieved that the whole event seemed to go so well, and folk appeared to really be having fun.....an on and on. Of course there was the "loss" of Teresa Styers purse that was a bummer, and I am still hoping someone accidentally picked it up thinking it was theirs, and have contacted her by now. Then there was a hooha I created myself, at the end of the reunion Keith and Mike helped me pack stuff back into my truck, then we all gathered for a post-party in the closed bar.....about 2:15 am I realized I forgot to get the bag that had my laptop/projector from the ballroom...freaked out when the place was locked, of course....but it all worked out ok, our banquet manager saw it and locked it up safely, I was able to come back to the hotel at 8am Sunday and get it!!!
So here I sit at 6am Monday morning, I took off work today, and I am thinking about all of you. Thank you. Thank you for all the words of love and encouragement you gave me all weekend about how much you were enjoying the reunion. Thank you for being a big part of my life. Thank you to the planning committee for responding and working so hard to find people and helping plan this event. Thank You God for letting all of us grow up together and for allowing us to make more memories together again. I love you all. Dana

What an event!!! FUN, FUN, FUN. This one tops them all (in my humble opinion). I felt so lost yesterday (Sunday) because I wouldn't be spending time reconnecting with people. So many people and so little time. I am soooo grateful for the time we had together. Very appreciative of all the hard work that went into making it such a memorable experience. Appreciative of the people that traveled so far to come to the reunion. Cally did a great job on the photos, food & drinks were great, decorations were beautiful, and door prizes were awesome (especially since I'll be visiting Memphis at some point soon - thanks Nancy). You know....some of us live so close - informal brunches, lunches, etc. could be fun :) Thanks again to everyone. Looking forward to the next one - but not looking forward to waiting 10 years! Much love,
Becky Buchanan Dees

I like Dana was sad on Sunday. So many people to see and so little time. There were so many people I didn't get to talk to, but it was great to see everyone. The time when by so quickly. I also think this was the best reunion. Can't wait to see everyone soon. With this website hopefully we can all keep in touch. I'm going to miss the reunion meetings. I had alot of fun working with each and everyone of you.

Love you all.

Sharon

I am so sad today and need all of you to cheer me up. Lets just do another one this weekend, ok??? Well since that isn't reality just know that i thoroughly enjoyed myself at the reunion. Please keep emailing me so I won't feel so lonely!!! Pathetic huh? Seriously, I had a BLAST renewing old friendships and loved making new ones with the spouses!
Love to all of you. Keep smiling and laughing.

What a wonderful weekend! I have to admit that I was reluctant to come to the reunion. I had a lot of soul searching to do. I thought long and hard about what I have and have not accomplished the past 30 years, having a divorce behind me and being a single Mom, and yes, the dreaded I'm in my forties thing that women go through. But you know what? I realized that what counts is not what we've done, who we've married, or what we look like - it's what is in our heart and who we are on the inside. And when I arrived, I knew that everyone I met knew that's what life is about- I met and re-met friends who are warm and kind and non-judgemental. I look forward to seeing everyone again soon and please call me when you and your family travel to Memphis. My hotel isn't far from Graceland and Beale Street and my staff will treat you like family.

See you soon!

I really had a great time reconnecting and seeing everyone. The committee did a superb job. A special thanks to LaDonna, Dana, Mike, Sharon, and Randy for pulling it off in style.

However, I was not prepared for the emotions that I felt on Sunday after it was over. I little sad for some reason.

I do plan on making an effort to keep in touch and see some of you in the near future.

Thanks for the Memories!

Jeff

Say it isn't so...that it has already been a week since we were all together again. What a great time I had connecting and reconnecting with folks from my youth. We have all grown so much, yet are still the same. I left Little Rock with a smile and a happy heart. I also had those same "sad" feelings that so many others have mentioned.

Thank you to the reunion committee for the incredible work that you all did and thanks for this website. Hopefully we will all continue to make use of it and keep in touch with each other even though many of us are separated by lots of miles.

Still smiling,
Larry Smithson

How can we be turning 50? I think I'm still 27!

I hate that I missed this chance to see the all-star cast

My McClellan years with you guys were the best!

I was bummed that I couldn't get away in July

anyone remember "Ethel Snowcones"

I miss those!

Karin

Glad to know that I'm not the only one who is still 27 :)

Ethel Snowcones!! OMG! Kids today just don't know what they missed out on not experiencing Ethel's. The last time I went by the area, Ethel's bldg. was still standing but of course was boarded up....makes ya sad.

We missed you Karin but know that you were there in our thoughts and hearts.

Becky
