Rebecca Vinson, 52 of Benton, passed away January 6, 2016. She was born April 2, 1963 in Little Rock to Claude Henry and Wanda Lou Mooney Mink. She was of the Nazarene faith. Rebecca was a Cosmetologist, working many years at the Moderne Salon in downtown Benton. She also worked at Briarwood Nursing and Rehab in Little Rock.
Rebecca was preceded in death by her father.
She is survived by her husband, James Vinson, daughters, Aleha (Marcus) Pruett of Benton, Alyssa Martin of Little Rock and Alora Martin of Little Rock, mother, Wanda Mink of Ohio, brother, Russell (Tara) Mink of Ohio, sister, Rhonda Mink of Virginia and eight grandchildren, step daughters, Lorelei (Michael) Aulenback of Little Rock and Angeleah (Canyon) Clark of Bryant.
Chapel Services by Ashby Funeral Home will be Saturday, January 9, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Tim Evans officiating.
Visitation will be Saturday, 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p .m. before service time.
Rebecca loved her family and grandchildren, she will be greatly missed by all who knew her, especially her dogs, Prince, Lil’Bit and Maggie. She was known by her husband as “Grizzley”

I am sorry to just now seeing that Becky has passed away. She and I along with another classmate used to all ride together from school to go to work at the Arkansas Library for a half of a day. If I remember correctly her car was a Pacer but I remember her driving like a bat out of ... The stories that we would talk about on the way to work...
