It is with great sorrow that we inform you that we have lost a classmate.  John Pannell, who many remember as a super sweet and gentle soul, passed from this Earth to Heaven on April 20, 2017, from esophogeal cancer.

John Clark Pannell, age 53, gained his wings April 19, 2017. He is survived by his wife of 30 years Beverly Pannell; his mother Patricia Rhodes; sons, Josh (Kaci), Jordan (Anna), and Jake; grandchildren, Harper Pannell, Barrett Pannell and Bexley Pannell; sisters, Shelly Cocco and Kelly Dardis (Steven) and a host of nieces and nephews, as well as a large family of Narcotics Anonymous brothers and sisters.

He is preceded in death by his father Floyd Pannell; grandparents Mark and Pat Green and loving step-father Dusty Rhodes. A memorial service will be held at 12:00 p.m. Monday at Boyd Funeral Home Chapel with a visitation beginning at 11 a.m. one hour prior to service. www.boydfuneralhome.net.
