Wade was a wonderful friend and such a talented musician!  I have missed him all through the years!

This was very very sad...we were all so young.  Only one month earlier he had come to my house and was laughing and chasing my 3 yr old sister all through the house.  He had a beautiful soul.

Lisa Jackson called me and broke the news while I was at my part-time job.  I think Mark Kelly was most effected-he would not drive his vehicle for the next four days.  I called him on the phone and reminded him that we must go on living with Faith, and told him that I love him...he drove over in the next 10 minutes and we cruised Geyer Springs while listening to Chris and Wade's music.

Wade's parents had us all over for his birthday (many of you may have been there).  I did not really know what to think about his robe and slippers layed out on the bed in his room...kinda like he would come back to them...I was too young to understand the depth of their grief.

I know now.

Wade was a good friend of mine and he lived across the st. from me. He was and unbelievably talented Lead Guitarist. (Sounds of Now 1980 & 81) I never realized just how talented and special he was until my latter years. His name would have definitely been in lights.

Sherri, Joe, and Tavie...

Thank you for sharing such kind words while remembering Wade.  He was a such a great guy!  I can only imagine how my life, and the lives of my family members, would have been enriched had we had the honor of him staying with us.  However, after nearly 30 years of him being gone, it sure puts a smile on my face, as well as my Mom's and Dad's, to hear that so many people never forgot him.  He loved his friends so much, and it is obvious that the feeling was mutual.  Love and blessings to each of you!

Kristy,

Thanks for posting for Wade. I can still remember every time we played guitar together like it was yesterday. He was a huge influence on me musically. I credit him for my playing style and confidence even today. He was a great friend to me. I've driven by his graveside many times over the years just to remember.

Jeff
