Michelle Patton, 43, of Little Rock passed away Monday, June 16, 2008. She was born in Houston, Texas on August 17, 1964, a daughter of Jimmy Patton and Lou Puckett Patton. She attended the University of Arkansas and the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. She was a Christian and a member of Geyer Springs First Baptist Church. Michelle worked many years for her father’s company, Jimmy A. Patton Contractor, Inc. She was a loyal and dedicated employee and a valuable asset to the company.

She enjoyed planning and preparing large family meals. She loved reading and gardening. Michelle had the gift of story telling and could keep her audience enthralled with her tales. She also was a gifted writer. She will be missed so much by her family and friends.

She is survived by her parents; three sisters, Nita Patton of Bryant, Jimmie Lou Wallace and Gena Case and her husband Greg of Little Rock; her grandmother, Juanita Patton; nephews, J. T. Head, Austin Wallace, Aaron Wallace and Jack Levi Honeycutt; nieces, Portia Bradford and Kaitlyn Case; aunts and uncles, Betty Fussell, Lando and Rosalie Patton and Joanna Puckett; and cousins, Cody Enlow, Tim Henry, Kailee Henry, and Ann Elizabeth Ohoo of Colorado.

Michelle was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Levi Patton, and her maternal grandparents, Vern and Zela Puckett.

Graveside service will be at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 18, 2008 at Forest Hills Memorial Park with Dr. Bruce Chesser officiating.

Open visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 Noon Wednesday at Roller-Chenal Funeral Home (501)224-8300.
