She touched so many lives at MHS. A Little woman that had a Big Voice and carried a big stick. (I think they used to call them Paddles, back in the day.)

But seriously, she was so encouraging for us all to do more and become better and i will be forever grateful to her for that.

There's also much more to this woman than i ever knew.

Look up "The Hoxie 21".

She was such a great person and she was always one of my favorite teachers and she taught me so much. She was such a inspiration to me to always do better. I truly loved her as a friend and a teacher when I went to school. She incouraged all her students. She will never be forgotten. RIP sweet angle. Mary Hess Joyner

My summer school English teacher, she was a hoot and gave me an A although I didnt deserve it. She thought I was on the football team because I sat with the "jocks" I got along well with all sterotypes, I was just a kid tryin to get by like the rest. She said she loved her football players so she gave us all A's and they copied from me so we all really had maybe C's or even D's but we got by and made it to our senior year with 11th grade english behind us!

Mrs. Trotter was one of my favorite teachers.  Due to her excellent teaching, english was my best subject.  I have passed the love of writing to my children, they are both great writers.

I seen Mrs. Trotter about three years ago in JCPenneys.  I told her who I was and she not only remembered me but she also remembered my older sisters.  It was just a pleasure to talk to her again.  She will truly be missed.

Mrs. Trotter was a one of a kind teacher.  I do remember how she loved her Seniors.... I would see her sitting outside her home and when I would stop to talk.  She would indeed remember me, and many of my sibblings whom she had taught years before.  She was a passionate english teacher and loved her students. May she rest in peace...
