Hey, anyone heard from Holly Morgan or Michelle Salmon? How about Becky Blue (Massey)? I talked to her more than 10 years ago, but haven't heard anything since.

Carter and Becky live here in Wylie, Texas. I left a message for them but never heard back from them. Is there a good friend who would like to call them if I gave them the number? Maybe they will call you back.

Let me know.

Janis Kay Morrison
September 4, 1947 - March 28, 2008
Janis Kay Morrison, age 60 of Little Rock, our sweet Janis, passed away on Friday, March 28, 2008 at her home in the presence of her family. Janis was known for her devotion to her husband, son, daughter, sisters, mother, grandchildren and multitudes of students. She is remembered for her humor, intelligence and selflessness. Janis was a dedicated teacher in the Pulaski County School District, winning frequent Teacher of the Year awards, until her retirement in 2005. She encouraged her children and her students to achieve their goals with the use of a firm but gentle hand. She set high expectations for herself as a teacher and expected no less from her students. Her children attribute everything they have accomplished to her guidance. Her grandsons will remember her for her special breakfast, and her granddaughter will accept no one elses macaroni and cheese. She will be loved and missed always.

Janis is survived by her husband Gary Morrison, a son Damon Morrison of Fort Smith, Arkansas; a daughter, Shelly Morrison Spollen and her husband John, of Little Rock, Arkansas; her mother, Mollie Jackson of Little Rock, Arkansas; two sisters, June Jackson of Little Rock, Arkansas and Jane Jackson of Mabelvale, Arkansas; three grandchildren, Parker and Alexander Morrison of Fort Smith, Arkansas and Anna Jane Spollen of Little Rock, Arkansas.

Memorial services will be held at 1:00 P.M., Tuesday, April 1, 2008 at Roller-Chenal Funeral Home Chapel (501-224-8300) with a private interment.

Family will receive friends Monday, March 31, 2008 at 711 LaSalle, Little Rock, Arkansas.

Memorials, in lieu of flowers, may be made to The Carcinoid Cancer Foundation, Inc., 333 Mamaroneck Avenue, #492, White Plains, NY 10605, www.carcinoid.org

Rick,
Didn't get a chance to see your response, I guess we weren't aware of the rules. Probably my fault (rules). I'm not a very political person, it's mostly a sham anyway, but I would lean toward that being censorship; Your thoughts? (cc my email incase the warden catches it first)

As long as we're posting nostalgia music...here's a taste of mine. Some of us weren't into Ah-Ha Toto, or Wham!....Most of us "bad kids" of Geyer Springs were more into Motley, Ratt, Def Leppard, Whitesnake, & Poison!!! I have done several concerts with Ratt & Poison over the years...all nice guys. Stephen Pearcy has actually stayed in my home twice...all 5 ft 5 inches of him!!! lol Thought you guys might get a kick out of seeing these videos again!! Get the Aqua-net out, put on your tapered jeans, chop the sleeves off of your t-shirt, throw up your devil horns, and enjoy!!!!

Hello all,

Some of you have asked me about doing something for Shelly's family. In lieu of flowers/cards the family has asked that a donation be made to the carcinoid cancer foundation. You can donate any amount and can do it online, via the mail, telephone etc.

Here is the address to the donation page:

https://secure.groundspring.org/dn/index.php?aid=21495

Have a great day and keep Shelly's family in your thoughts and prayers as they go through this loss!

3rd-Graders Accused Of Plot To Harm Teacher
Nine Students Suspended
POSTED: 10:51 am EDT April 1, 2008
WAYCROSS, Ga. -- As many as nine third-graders plotted to harm their teacher, even going so far as to bring handcuffs and a knife to school, Waycross police said.
School officials at Center Elementary School said they never imagined that some of the 8- and 9-year-old boys and girls at the school would think of bringing physical harm to a teacher, WJXT-TV in Jacksonville reported.
"A plan had been developed amongst several of our third-grade students to allegedly do harm to their teacher," said Theresa Martin, of Ware County Schools.
Martin said the plot was uncovered when one student saw a knife in the backpack of another student.
"It's shocking that they would think of this at their young age. I think that is probably the most shocking part for all of us," Martin said.
School officials said other students also had duct tape, handcuffs, ribbon and a heavy crystal paperweight.
Officials said they did not know how far the students were planning to take the alleged scheme.
The police chief in Waycross said he believes the plan may have been developed because one of the students was punished with some sort of time out. However, that theory remains under investigation.
"I can't believe that -- because he's a third-grader. You know, I cannot believe that. Especially for here," said parent Doris Rowland.
The nine students suspected in the plot have been suspended until the police investigation is completed. The students could face expulsion pending the investigation.
Authorities could also ask prosecutors to press conspiracy charges against the youngsters accused of being involved.

Have a great day!

Hey...shut up!!! The ring leader was MY kid....and it wasn't just a childish prank. It was an organized HIT!!! There's alot of cash to be made in knockin' off teachers these days!!! I mean, the school district life insurance policy is worth at least $25,000.....and with todays fluid economy, 25G's is a TON of loot!!!! The husband simply wanted to take his mistress to Belize for a weeklong vacation. Come on, who wouldn't bump a mean-ass teacher off for that????? ha ha ha
