Laurie Lewis (Bonds) Steve, do you remember in 9th grade when Coach Williams asked me to come over to football practice and punt to the return team for practice? I actually did it for several practices. Ladies, why did ya'll let me act like such a fool??? I think I saw Susan Jackson in Target (NLR) a couple of months ago. Does anyone know about Susan?

Edwin Brown Hello Steve and the rest of the alumni class, I got a call from Mitchell Erby this morning telling me about this site, as I had been wondering about a reunion this year, and I have been amused since I first logged on. It is refreshing to know that so many of you are doing well & I cant wait to see you all. Great job on the web site.

Who remembers Coach Newman from Mabelvale Jr. High? He was much younger than we are now when he taught us! Unbelievable! I will never forget his famous question to those of us who did not behave...3 LICKS OR EXTRA WORK? Leigh Meux and I were dancing to the national anthem and as usual ignored his request to stop...Despite the fact that we were in our cheerleading uniforms, we took the licks...if a teacher did that in this day and time they would lock em' up!

I sent an e-mail to Natalie Howton. She married my brother right out of high school...I think they will have their 20th anniversary next year?!? Anyway, they live in Arizona and have two boys, 12 and 8...

Beth Farris (Elliott) Steve & Jennifer, You all are doing a wonderful job. For those of you who went to Mabelvale JR High and remember Mrs. Deckard (Choir Teacher) she passed away over 10 years ago with cancer. Just thought you all would want to know.

David Mitchell Alright people....I have recieved several emails asking about the Friday night party for the reunion. Sorry I don't have it set up yet. I had a relatively horrible motorcycle accident Saturday, and am pretty banged up. I'll be back in action in a few days, and will get back on planning the party.

Just a thought - the Class of 85 reunion used Cajun's for their Friday night get together and it was great. They had a buffet and they decorated the room with Lion "stuff", like football jerseys, pictures, pom poms, etc. They also put together a DVD with pictures that classmates had sent in. They also hired a DJ that only played 80's music! Just in case the committee is still looking for venues....

Does anyone know how I can get in touch with Leigh Meux? I totally lost track of her and would love to reconnect.

And I'm a bit embarrassed to admit that I have a fair amount of "stuff" from HS (and Jr HS). I have cheerleading uniforms, megaphone, camp trophies, ribbons, cap and tassel, etc. I have NO idea why I still have it, but if it is of any use to the reunion then I'll make it available.

Okay, Christy, I think you just admitted to stealing valuable keepsakes from our school!!

Coach Newman and the Pfeifer twins stayed close for a long time. I actually spent New Years' with him and Pam Pfiefer several years after graduation.

I didn't know about Mrs. Deckard. Sweet lady. I guess everyone knows Mrs. Smith (Business dept Mc) died a few years ago.

I saw Sonya Moore tonight at a consignment sale. I'll see her again and get her on line. Any word on Holly Morgan. Is she still teaching in Benton?

Steve, Jen, David and all who helped get this together, This is awesome! It has really been fun catching up with all of you. My kids had a big laugh at the stupid looking feathered haired mullet. Thanks Steve for posting those pics. Laura Henry, not fair that you took yours off! One of my kids said WHO's THAT? I said who do you think it is, she said I don't know but looks like some 80's dude. That'll make you feel real good. Oh well, the eighties were awesome, wouldn't change it!!, Thanks again for the hard work.

david what about the bike man .I to know what its like when we crash our bikes. when i sold my shadow 750 to vince france and got a GSXR 750 .Thats when i started crashing my first one put me in south west hospital .And two days after beening there they brought greg lovell in and put him two rooms down we had the some injuries .Only he crashed the red bronco . I rember my last one i was not as lucky they wonted to take my leg off .Well i said no do what you can do to save it .I went threw a year of therapy to keep it .Something strange happend while in this stay they brought steve dovall in for the same thing he crashed his bike . David hope you get better and let us no how the bike is.Dont sweat ADISIS .I will send you a CD sometime mabe you can pop it in and check them out and get back with me i would like to no what you think .I think they are alot like the one your working with now o well got to go ,

He was a good friend to me back in HS, (not that those of you that knew me aren't good friends lol) , I just never knew so many of us still lived here in Ar.
