David Mitchell You girls have me beat too...Plano got a little in the middle of the day, but it stopped by the end of the afternoon...the roads didn't even get covered. Oh well, it was pretty while it was falling! I may be coming to YOUR house to go sledding Amy!!!! lol

Okay, I should probably keep my mouth shut, but we are THRILLED to finally be getting snow in LR....... twice in one week (in March, of all times). At least today's snow has school cancelled, and my kids are so excited (I'm just glad to have a day to sleep in). In anticipation of this "snow event" I didn't go to the grocery store, but to Krispy Kreme (which is the last thing I need, but oh, well). Have a great day!!

Wendy,

Go ahead and send the kids down!! Be warned they may not make it out of Jennings County before Sunday :). We have Chili, Grilled Cheese and Hot Coco on the menu (Laura ~ no Krispy Kreme in BFE). We have about 3 inches on the ground already and near white out conditions. The wind is blowing the snow around alot so it is hard to see out the windows and stuff. I will try and post pics later. Have fun everyone and enjoy the snow if you've got it!

David Mitchell All of you are making me sick....lol. It snowed JUSt enough here to make everything wet & nasty. Oh how I miss Arkansas!!! lol Just kidding!!! Thanks to all of you for rubbing it in!!!! Grrrrrrrrrr..... I want a doughnut!!! **Does anyone know how to find Robin Ishmael? I haven't seen her in 15 years...I'd love to catch up with her.

Steve Duvall i got all of you beat we got 14ins tuesday and still had snow on the ground when it started snowing at noon yesterday got another 6 or 7 ins last night and this morning. my neighbor and her kids made a 6 foot tall 3 ball snow man it was so cool never seen one that big here. Russellville

Jennifer Hutchison (Schoonover) Steve, if you can get some pics of that snowman. Is it done snowing at your house? And where exactly are you? The weather channel has people around here scared to death. We are on a level 2 emergency ~ essential travel only. They say the worst is coming at us (that must be what you got). Let me know. Jen

Jennifer Hutchison (Schoonover) got about 10" on the ground....it was dry but with a little warmth it is perfect for snowmen now. we have some 2.5' drifts that are really pretty. I have tried to get some pics but the camera is not doing well in the cold and with direct sunlight hitting the WHITE snow. boys are building a snowman now. We will see how it goes. Have fun everybody!

James Bell I can't top any of you. We only got three inches in Memphis, but it's very nice snow. I mean, it's not that nice, powdery Colorado snow (I might have to move back there because I miss it), but it's nice snow. A friend and I took our dogs to a school about 3 AM and let them run and play. Remind me to do that during the day next time. I'm still frozen.

Tim Havens Hey Rick, I ran into Ron Thomas a week ago in Home Depot in SW Little Rock. He works there, but I'm not sure what department. I left him my number, if he calls I'll tell him about this site. He's probably like me and doesn't get on the computer much (stuck in the 80's), so if anybody didn't get reply's on their massage, I tried! Looking forward to the reunion.

Well I guess I'll jump on in here! It's great to be hearing about everybody. Sounds like everyone is doing well. As for the snow, we had about 12 inches tuesday and 4-5 thursday and friday. It's not that much fun in a UPS truck though. We started work tuesday, so I did have a little time to play with the kids. Can't wait until the reunion. Keep up the good work Jen and Steve! Rick Weber i remember twin oaks and the store. where was pizza barn? was that the place that became a pawn shop years later? i mean swlr has closed so many businesses down. UA 4 and putt putt was like a family event!
