After graduation I left for Evangel college in Springfield, MO but transferred to SAGC in TX in '80. Married a classmate in '83, left before graduating and moved to Detroit, MI to start an inner city church with World Challenge, David Wilkerson Ministries. Ministered in San Francisco to start an inner city ministry in the housing projects. "Discovery Club" for kids resulted but left in '87 for NYC to help start Times Square Church in Manhattan. Later transferred to TX as associate pastor, while my family grew! In '91 left full time ministry for secular work and service in my local church. Moved to Houston, Austin & Ft. Worth TX managing separate custom countertop companies.. Unfortunately was divorced in '03 after almost 21 yrs. Rejoined World Challenge in '05 to present. Met my future wife, Maureen, in Nicaragua while we both were doing a medical mission trip there. We married in NYC in '07 and together have traveled the world (60 countries so far!) bringing the practical Gospel of Christ to those in extreme poverty using the CHE program (chenetwork.org). I have 10 grandchildren: 7 Boys, 3 girls.
Officially retired in 2022, yet continue in ministry through our own organization, UpReach Global. Left CO, relocated to Conway, Ar.

Thank God I do have some memories...although most are lost in the haze (& you know what I mean!).
I always loved the Choir and all the members. I faintly remember the DECA Club. Did you know that I chased Cyndi Stiles to TX in '80 trying to 'rekindle' something? The crazy things we do! I can remember Janna Lowery (crush and all!) and the little 260Z she drove. I think we were at her house when I heard about the deaths of the rock group Lynyrd Skynyrd. I had a split personality then (maybe now?!); like hanging with the good guys (Wally, David, Doug, Strick, etc) but partying with the 'other' guys (Kelly, Paul (the Ball), Alan (who I always knew had the awesome cars gotten by 'sordid' means!). Who'll ever forget the Magnum? Or the crash we had in the parking lot of McCain mall! Was I the only guy who about peed my pants while trying out for Region or State Choir? You’re wondering, so, no I don't sing alot now. I've learned my limitations! But alot has been lost, forgotten about those days. But overall, it was a blast! I've gone through a lot as all of us have, some good and some extremely difficult but God has always watched over me and blessed me with His mercy. I've had a great life!
