JANET MARIE DENNISTON, age 55, of North Little Rock, loving
mother,wife, and daughter, died at Little Rock Baptist Health Hospital
on Monday, May 29, 2007, following a brave life as a survivor of
multiple strokes. She was born December 14, 1951, in Marion, La., to
the late J. B. Quinn andher mother, Mary Ann Biggs Denniston. Following
her father's death she was adopted by her mother's loving husband, Joe
Tom Denniston, Sr. She graduated from North Little Rock High School in
1969 and completed a Bachelor's and Master's of Science degrees in
Education at the University of Central Arkansas in Conway. Janet
retired from the Pulaski County Special School District where she held
teaching positions as well as being as Assistant Principal. Janet
retired in 1992 after suffering a stroke. On July 21, 1995, she was
united in marriage to Edward (Eddie) Schulz in North Little Rock, Ark.

Janet was a member of the Sherwood Church of the Nazarene where she
sang in the church choir. Janet had a strong faith in God and rejoiced
in his promise of forgiveness and love. She had extraordinary musical
talents and loved to sing, play, and write music. Performing as Jan
Marie, she recorded an album of original songs in 1989. Janet also
enjoyed working in her yard, flower gardening and the companyof her
beloved dogs, Leonardo and ZeeZee.

Janet is survived by her husband, Eddie Schulz; her mother, Mary Ann
Denniston of North Little Rock; her son, Jason Harwell and his wife,
Jeanette, of Searcy, Ark.; her daughter, Jennifer Harwell of
Jacksonville; four grandchildren, Jessi Harwell of Perryville, Ark.,
Mason and Madison Wyatt of Searcy, Ark., Tristen Schulz of Lake in the
Hills, Ill.; one goddaughter, Alyssa Jackson of Cabot, Ark.; one
brother, Tom Denniston and his wife, Barbara, of Sherwood, Ark.; and
one sister, Helen Denniston of Wasill, Ark.. She is further survived by
nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many, many friends. In addition
to her fathers, one brother, Mark Denniston, preceded her in death.

Funeral services for Janet Marie Denniston will be held at 10 a.m.
Friday, June 1 at Huson Funeral Home, 7700 Highway 107 in Sherwood. The
Reverend Jeff Taylor will officiate. Burial service will be at Rest
Hills Memorial Park, 77244 Landers Road in North Little Rock, with the
Reverend Roy Thompson officiating. Relatives and friends are welcome at
Huson Funeral Home on Thursday, May 31, for a time of remembrance from
6 p.m. to 8 p.m. and on Friday from 10 a.m. until the hour of the
