Herman Edward Jordan passed on to eternal life May 31, 2006. He is preceded in death by sisters, Ruth Dickerson, Barbara Davis, Velma Foster, Almeda Stewart; and brother, Andrew Jordan Jr. He is survived by wife, Alinda King Jordan of Round Rock, Texas; daughter, Katrina Jordan of Austin, Texas; son, Herman Edward Jordan II of Centerville, Mo.; stepsons, Roderick and Reginald Shelby of Shreveport, La.; four grandchildren; two sisters, Queen Hampton of Little Rock and Nettie (James) Rouse of Benton; brother, Walter Jordan of North Little Rock; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends. 

Graveside service is 12 noon, Friday, June 9, 2006, at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery. "Services entrusted to Premier Funeral Home, 1518 S. Battery St., L.R., Ark. 72202, (501) 376-4800. "Only Heaven Can Serve You Better!"
