Cynthia Kay McCorkle Cherry Ingram, age 71, of North Little Rock, Arkansas, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, May 5, 2023.

She was born in Little Rock, AR on January 15, 1952 to Rea and Katie McCorkle. Cindy graduated from North Little Rock High School in 1970, continued to attend the NLRHS Wildcats Supper Club monthly get-togethers, and helped to make sure the 1970 Class Reunions were something special to remember.

Cindy worked at Clark Machinery for 42 years and genuinely loved her work family who always took exceptionally good care of her.

She was an active member of Park Hill Baptist Church for 65 years where she made many good friends in the singles department, worked with the youth teaching Sunday School for 10 years, and was part of the "Joyful Women" Sunday School Class.

Cindy was also known as "The Cake Lady." She made the world a more beautiful place with her gorgeous and delicious cakes.

She developed a reunion tradition with her sister-cousins who are holding their reunion this weekend in her honor and will be missing Cindy at all their family reunions and birthday parties.

Cindy had a way of shaping the lives of those around her, and we are all blessed to have been touched by her presence, though we already miss her deeply.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Rea and Katie McCorkle; her soulmate, Bill Ingram; her beloved son, Matthew Cherry; her children she gained through marrying Bill, Janice Henderson and Jason Ingram; her brothers Phillip McCorkle and Mark McCorkle; her father-in-law, Bill Ingram, Sr; and her nephew, Ryan Means.

Cindy is survived by her adoring and devoted sisters and brothers-in-law: Teresa (John) Tidwell, and Sarah (Robert) Means; her brother-in-law and sisters-in-law: John (Sarah) Ingram, and Jan Ingram; her children gained through marrying Bill: Eric (Sarah) Ingram; her grandchildren, Joshua Ingram, Eric (Madison) Ingram, Ashley (Dallas) Lindsey, Erin (Ethan) Haynie, and Kathryn Ingram; her great-grandson, Lincoln Ingram; her nieces and nephews: Shannon (Andy) Ash, Carrie (David) Sublett, Ashley (Ryan) Hankins, Rachel (Jeremy) Payant, Lauren (Brandy Tidwell, Bryson Means, and Princess Kaitlin Tidwell. Cindy is also survived by 9 great nieces and nephews, 3 great-great nieces and nephews, an aunt and uncle, sister-cousins, double cousins, regular cousins, and a host of friends and co-workers.

Visitation for Cindy will be held:
Friday, May 12, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM

Funeral service will immediately follow:
Friday, May 12, 2023 at 2:00 PM

Burial will follow:
Friday, May 12, 2023 at 3:00 PM

Note: Following a cancer diagnosis and a 3 year battle, Cindy requested cessation of treatments and placed herself under in-home hospice care in April 2023
