Opal Angela Holt Barnard, aged 67, left this life on January 28, 2020, at peace and comfortable under hospice care in her own home, following a 5 month private battle with cancer. Opal is survived by the love of her life, her husband Archie Barnard whom she married on Dec 12, 2014. Also survived by her twin sons Jeremy Ables and Jason Ables, and a host of other beloved family and friends. According to her wishes, Opal was cremated. There will be no funeral or memorial service.

Opal A. Barnard, age 67, of Royal, Arkansas passed away Tuesday, January 28, 2020. She was born in Memphis, Tennessee on February 14, 1952, to the late William and Lillia Mae Holt. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister Brenda Alkire. 

Survivors include husband, Archie Barnard; children Jeremy Ables (Sarah) and Jason Ables (Amy); stepson Archie Vincent Barnard III; grandchildren, Carter Ables, Hudson Ables, Trey Ables, Margo Ables, Ella Ables, and Birdie Hindsman; sisters Sandra Littlefield (Shelton), Regina Mitchell, and Donna Smith; brother William Holt Jr.; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other extended family. 

In lieu of flowers please make memorial donations to a charitable organization of your choosing. There will be a private family visitation to be determined.
