Richard Bean, 63, of Edgemont, Arkansas passed away Wednesday, December 16, 2015. He was born October 8, 1952 in Missouri to Ray and Lucy Bean. He was a character, a comedian, a gracious host and had the most tender heart. The world lost a good man. 
He is survived by his son, Dustin Bean; his son’s mother, Joni Pippen, Joni’s daughter, Danielle Pippen, his son’s grandparents, John and Joyce Fortenbury, and his faithful dog, Sam. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Memorials may be made to an Animal Rescue Organization of your choice.

A visitation will be held from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m., Monday, December 21 followed by a funeral service at 6:00 p.m. at Smith – North Little Rock Funeral Home. His family will scatter his ashes at his favorite place in a private ceremony at a later date.
