He is survived by one son, Dowell Beene, his mother, Alice Daniels, and two brothers, Odis Beene and Tony Beene, all of Little Rock; two sisters, Becky Beene of Little Rock, and Barbara Beene of Reno; and his grandmother, Willie Mae Davis of Little Rock.

Visitation is scheduled from 5-7 p.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday in the Second Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.
