Linda - Here's hoping your day is very special and your NOLA/NLR split life (if still going on) is full of blessings all year. Happy Birthday!

Tommy Fox, Bobby Engister, Billy Stroud, wow what a trip. .
Such a small world. I put two and two together and realized that your daughter and my daughter went all the way through the Mount together. Tell Peggy and Cynthia Erica and Ms. Lee said hi!! I will see you at the reunion.
How would I get you to help put pictures on line. I want someone to recognize me at the dinner. Linda Lee
As a woman serving in the Vietnam era, I found that I was where I needed to be at the time. My senior trip gift from my parents took me took me to Washington DC and seeing all of those white headstones from Vietnam made me want to volunteer as I did. I worked with the Pilot Training Squadron out of Keesler AFB. It was at this time I realized what a big picture the world really was. It saddens me too, that we trained Iranians, which at the time was our friend. Not so much 50 years later. Yes, those who served were brave. Those who died their families still carry on the hurt of their soldier's ultimate sacrifice. I am so proud that I was able to serve. It made my prospective of what is truly important in life so clear.
Happy Birthday. I am finding it funny that so many of the MSM/CHS grads followed the same career path, Retired. I look forward to joining the ranks. Take care, and look forward to seeing you in October.
Oh Karen you made me smile. I forgot about Sr. Helen. More than once she would start the class by saying, "All those absent please stand up." Little did I know the nuns formed many of my traits, and one of them being my quick sense of humor !!!!!! Thank you Sr. Helen!!!
I also remembered Sr. Jacques. (Now Sr. Mary Ann). My whole senior year in Marriage and Family Living, it was hard for me to wrap around the thought of
a nun telling me about Marriage, but I listened and followed many of her suggestions, and I guess it worked. Ken and I celebrated our 46th wedding anniversary this year. I know you taught this class, as did I, and to take on such a responsibility as Sr. Jacques with senior girls, well I think we both need a pat on the back. I know you experienced nostalgia as did I when I returned to teach at MSM. To be on the teaching side of the desk was eerie to say the least!!!
