Share a School Story:
Hmm, a favorite school story huh? Well I truly loved the "Off Campus" activities the most! The parties up in Deer Creek Canyon, jumping off the spillway at Chatfield and the "Party" at my parents house that was supposed to be 25 people and ended up being 125 with a live band! I still feel sorry for the 80 year old babysitter my parents hired to watch over us!
Probably my best memory was the fact that I really had a love hate relationship with Warren Hanks, the principal at the time. I had a pretty hard time at school the whole 4 years I was there and he told me that I would probably never graduate or amount to anything.
Although all of you graduated before me as my credits were behind, I went on to Jefferson County Adult High for an extra semester to graduate still in 1985 and he and Mrs. Burns personally came to my lil graduation.
I thought that was pretty cool!!!!! They both ate dinner with my family and were really gracious and supportive!
