Always wanting to keep friends and family around me to take on the next journey, it's difficult for me to let go. That's why I'm usually the last to leave a great party! I am so glad we are able to reconnect with our sphere of influence through today's networking avenues and reunions. Mine has been a really great journey with many joys and some heartaches (self inflicted, of course). I enjoy great comfort in the Lord, for He is good and loves me (us) no matter what!

What can I say, other than I was a self-centered, ignorant young person! I tried not to be selfish, but I sure wasn't wise. Having said that, I hope those who may have felt shunned by me will be gentle and understanding. Mostly, I felt unworthy and a bit reserved around a lot of people. So, why was I a cheerleader?? I think I needed a place to feel included and be creative. Plus, I really like sports!

35 years is a lot of time to sift through, but to recap: Europe is historically & architecturally humbling, Hawaii is very beautiful, Mexico and Belize are an adventure (especially in a private plane), Canada and Alaska are spectacular (especially in a private plane).
