My Story:

Started and operated my Automotive Service Business in the early 80's. Sold this in 2001 to buy and operate a Bar/Restaurant/Hotel on the route to Yosemite. During this time I also filled a position as Executive Director of the local Chamber of Commerce, for a couple of years. The economy and family health issues took their toll and the hotel business went by the way side in 2010. Currently researching the next venture as you cant keep a born and bred Entrepreneur down, .....for long.

I still repair cars for my Lake Don Pedro Neighbors, there is a need and not many providers in this area.

Jim drove his blue 67 camaro and me, a white 59 Chevrolet Brookwook wagon when we started driving. We upgraded to GTO's, him 64 with triple duces, mine a 65, that damn near killed me. Man we worked on those cars together alot. Jim dad, Sccdro or Skeeter, would let us use his tools and garage. Jim had a great relationship with him. They really were great gear heads to grow up with.

Jim and I cruzed First Street many weekend nights together. Will never forget the night I talked him into uncapping his hedders and taking a run through the strip one Friday night. He made it from end to end, engine back fires and rapping rikoshaying off the buildings as he revved up the engine at the stop lights.

At Kinny Shoes it was my turn. I hopped in, went a few blocks and got pulled over and ticketed. I never had such a great joy getting pulled from a vehicle by Johnny law.

Jim was kind to all he met and didn't have an evil bone in him, he had many friends. I had a few years where when were close. I always wanted him to visit my Automotive Repair Business, he would have been proud.

Thanks for the memories JIm, drive on brother.....
