Donald Allaway did die in Vietnam on May 18, 1966. He is on the wall at Panel 7E, Line 79. His last name has been spelled two different ways, with an "a" or with an "o".
I think of Don Allaway often. He was a good friend. We had many adventures together. There are things I believe about our country and things I do not believe. I cried when I heard he had been killed in Viet Nam. I wish he had stayed home.
Don and I were good friends we sold magazines door to door together when he got out of high school .Rest in peace my brother Semper Primus! you are not forgotten
