I remember Sal as the Corvette guy who always drove it to school.

Sal was a great guy.  From what I heard, he crashed the car on a hunting trip in Vermont.  Life is too short.

Remembering Sal from Squiretown Elementary School.  Always smiling and ran everywhere!  Andy Preziosi posted a picture of our class.  Sal is standing right in front of Miss Carr.  Condolences to his family and friends

Paul Bagoon has asked me to post his knowledge of Sal’s life and unfortunate passing:

Yes, Sal died driving his Jeep in VT. However, true to Sal’s mystique, this was not just any Jeep. His Jeep had a 300hp Corvette engine! I know this for a fact because the engine in his jeep came out of my 64 Corvette that my wife Fran totaled driving on ice on Route 10 in Livingston in 1973. He got the engine from Panek’s garage where it had been towed. It sounds corny, but he died as he lived- driving fast cars!
